If an employment contract is established, the condominium must protect workers with work accident insurance, which will be activated if there is an accident at the work station or on the path used between the worker’s home and the condominium. In the provision of services, this obligation belongs to the service provider, either the person performing the task or the company to whom it was contracted.
In the 1st case, the condominium must also register the worker with Social Security and pay the respective monthly contributions. It must also provide the right to the usual rest period (22 working days), which will be paid and entitle them to vacation pay. The employee will also receive a Christmas allowance.
